Jackets at the hip or?

So I have a few jackets that go to the hip. I think they look best. I have a few others that are longer and I feel like they make me look shorter. Thoughts?

I think it depends on your build. I am quite thin so I like to have my jackets to hit below the hips but not super long.

I like my jackets to be short and my shirts slightly past that for a more fitting look.

I think it looks best when my fiance wears his jacket about 2 to 4 inches shorts than the bottom of his shirt. He looks more tall and manly

Mine I wear long. I like them to be about half way down my backside. I don't like them short cause I think it looks goofy having my shirt hang out.
