A bit fed up...

Shopping

I am on the shorter side of the short side. I am barely 5'6. When I wear boots, if I do not cover them with pants, they look awful! My favorite pair finally had enough and so I was forced to find some new ones. It seems like any kind of boot I put on looked like I was drowning in them. Like boots that should hit 5 inches above the ankle hit 5 inches below my knee. To paint a picture... I look like a chick wearing over sized men's boots that happen to fit my large feet.

I don't mean to come off in a way that is, well, mean but have you considered finding some other style of boots or just wearing boots with pants? I think shoes/boots are only designed for tall men since the average is only 5'9. That would be foolish.

What boots are you wearing????? I'm not that much taller than you and never had this problem. Just get your size.

I have wide feet and I do get my size but for whatever reason, wide feet means taller calves? I don't get it.
